The Pandemic has brought on endless opportunities for emotional healing and personal growth. 

 

In March of 2020, I woke up inspired with an idea: pandemic-themed poetry coupled with corresponding artwork. Poets write, artists make art, the world heals from the inside out.

 

For this project, submissions for poetry were gathered and shared with the group of artists anonymously. The artists chose poems blindly without knowing the name of the author. The poet did not know which artists were in the "pool" so the art revealed to them was a surprise.

 

Several of the poets and artists are published and working as writers and artists in their field today. Their bios are equally as interesting as the works themselves, and paired together, with their own interpretation, are even more profound.
